The following Specialist
Ratings are those found in the "13 and Above" handbook
and the "Advancement and Merit Badge Handbook" the cannot
be credited for the Eagle Scout because there are less
than three Merit Badges that can be credited towards the
rating itself due to the following reasons:
The specialist rating included Merit
Badges Required for Eagle Scout and
these Merit Badges can never be credited towards the
three Merit Badges a Scout should earn for the rating
as they are explicitly required for something else. These
Merit Badges will be in bold face.
The specialist rating included "In
the Works Merit Badges," that is, Merit Badges that
has no official requirements attached to them and no guidelines
were provided how they can be earned. These Merit Badges
will be in red color.
Merit Badges in plain regular link are
those Merit Badges than can be earned and credited towards
the Specialist Rating they belong to.
