Hog Raising
- Visit five or more farms, and name and describe two (2) breeds of hogs found thereon; or attend an agricultural exhibition and describe the pedigree of one of the hogs shown at such exhibition.
- Explain the different uses of hog products for both commerce and food.
- Write out a balanced ration for fattening hogs, and give reason for its preparation.
- Explain fully the symptoms of hog cholera, and the preventive measures in common use.
- Name the different kinds of food rations needed for hogs from weaning time to marketing age.
